Weaning is an exciting milestone for you and your baby. It is also easy to feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice from books, websites, family and friends. You may be wondering when to start weaning, or if you should give purees, finger foods or a combination of both, or when you should drop milk feeds?
The workshop aims to dispel the myths around weaning and help you to feel more confident, and reassured, about feeding your precious little ones well. This workshop will provide helpful, practical tips, suggestions and guidance on how to wean baby plus a live cooking session with Danielle from The Cobbled Kitchen!
The workshops are held in relaxed environments and they give you plenty of opportunities to ask lots of questions!
Weaning Baby course will cover:
- What is weaning?
- When & how to start (for those who haven't already)?
- What foods to give & when?
- Purees V baby led weaning?
- Home V ready-made baby food?
- Cups and drinks
- Handy tips for preparing foods in advance
- Food tasting and suggested easy simple recipes
Plus hands on cooking session with Danielle Durant
Each parent will receive a weaning handout and a recipe card with simple easy recipes to cook for baby and the family!
Booking and cancellation policy
Your Parents & Co course/workshop is only guaranteed once full payment has been received
If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the start date of your chosen course/workshop, no refund will be given.
If you cancel 2-6 weeks before the start of your chosen course/workshop, 50% refund will be offered.
If you cancel 6 weeks or more before the start date of your chosen course/workshop, a full refund will be offered.
If you book onto a course but wish to postpone to the next available course, then an administrative charge of £15 will apply.
We have the right to remove or exclude anyone from the course/workshop at any stage entirely at our discretion.
Speakers, topics, dates and course venues are subject to change.
If you miss a session at one of our courses it may be possible to attend the missed session at the next available course, subject to space being available.
